Venkatram on the violin, Sri Raja Rao on the Mridangam and Sri Giridhar Udupa on the Ghatam. It was a delightful experience today with Mandolin Shrinivas leading the team of Sri H. Mandolin Shrinivas came ,played, conquered the hearts of the rasikas The review of the concert is also attached just to relive the great experience we hadĩ th August concert at Unnati Centre during Gokulastami Series. We are sharing a few pics taken during this year’s program by our friend Prakash. We are sharing the You Tube links which are very special. The personal loss for some of us is irrepairable. We have a small clipping of the concert and his speech about our organisation and our journey together. He was with us as recently as the 9 th of August, giving us yet another stupendous performance, leaving everyone craving for more, as always. Tears well up at the thought that we will never get to hear him play the mandolin anymore.

The phenomenon that Shrinivas was and the unflinching support that he extended, year after year for 3 decades, undoubtedly helped SGBS Trust as an organisation.

They considered it a privilege to get to see their God. Shrinivas the name spelt magic and rasikas would throng our venue, occupy every inch of space on the floor and sit through and stand patiently for 3 full hours. His involvement with our organisation dates 3 decades. For an organisation like Sree Guruvayurappan Bhajan Samaj, Shrinivas has been such a pillar of strength and helped it grow from a struggling small organisation into what it is today. Words cannot explain our pain at the thought of the loss of Mandolin U Shrinivas.
